Called Wells Fargo asking why they charged me 3 dollars for a "monthly service fee" of 3 dollars. The CSR was pleasant and explained about some sort of waiver between my checking and savings account... Ok whatever... Bankelese he was speaking, so I went along.
I was going to cancel my account anyways, but since I saw that 3 dollars taken out of a balance of 4.68? I was worried what they were going to do next. They already said there was "insufficient" funds a couple of times, as their scam to transfer 25 dollars to my savings account from the checking account had not gone through.
So I guess to cancel an account, as the CSR explained, I need a "notorized" letter sent to Portland stating that I want cancel and they will send me the balance of the account, but when I went online to get some information on this? They charge A FEE TO SEND A CASHIER'S CHECK!!!
So... I will write a check to myself for the balance and go online to cancel. More to come I am sure. My guess is that since I cancelled without a 25 year notice, they are going to take every single possession I have and dock my pay for not giving them notice within the guidelines of Armageddon.
Doing business with WF is like WTF? They have done me dirty before and I had to kick and scratch to undo their wrongs...
If anyone is reading this... Do the right thing brothers and sisters... Get out now!!!
