They stole $400 before the contract was agreed to

This company will not give you enough information to make an informed discission without a deposit. Once you give them your credit card info you will be charged no matter what they say. Furthermore you will not get your money back no matter what they say. I requested information on the refinance of my mortgage. Quicken Loans was my second response. Although I told them I had begun to work with another company they stated they wanted to make me an offer. They stated they needed preliminary information to give me a good faith estimate. They also stated they needed my credit card information to send me a good faith estimate. Adam Girard loan specialist assured me that I would not be charged until all information was submitted and agreed upon. I could not get my Good faith estimate forwarded to me until the credit card info was on file. So I gave them the credit card info 9/30 Thursday. On Friday 10/1 I told them Adam Girard and Aaron Waldron I wanted to go with the other company to cancel my application. Paul [? ]... Adams supervisor offered me a reduced rate if interest and reduction omit loan origination fee. They said they would put the information in writing and send it to me.By 10/6 Tuesday they had not emailed me the new information nor was the updated information on the web site only the old contract which was cancelled and a mortgage I had previously done with them. On Tuesday 10/6 they charged my credit card $400. I contacted them and let them know I was never sent an updated good faith estimate and had previously cancelled the initial application and that I did not want to proceed with them. They promptly emailed me the estimate which was not what was discussed on Friday 10/2. They moved the numbers around but my closing cost would still be the same including loan origination fees. I responded that I still did not want to do business with them. They state my $400 is non refundable. Their only expense has been my credit report. $12 if that. You can not trust them.
