Unfair fees

I have had a Bank America credit card for years and have no problems

With your company. My son is a student at Penn State and we opened him

Up a checking account with your bank. He and I have had no experience

With atm cards. He overdrafted his card for $69.57 and your bank

Charged his account $405.00. You never contacted him or myself until

Two weeks had past even though you had a telephone number on us. Do you

Not think $405.00 is a bit overboard for a $69.57 mistake? No one

Informed us of these fees and we were never contacted about the

Overdraft through email or telephone. Why would you give money on a

Card that holds a negative balance except to scam unknowing student and

Patrons out of their hard working dollars. This is no way to make

Customers loyal to your bank or any of your other services: mortgages,

Money markets, and or credit cards. I am a 52 year old and I have never

Experienced this type of embezzlement. I went to the bank near my home

In Margate yet the bank associate, Marina Breslin never contacted me

Back about the progress of this case. She emailed her boss and she was

Supposed to call my cell. As I was never notified of the overdraft I

Was never contacted about the result of my contact with her. I see this

As a scam directed at students unfamiliar with atm cards. This morning

This unethical practice by your bank was the lead story on KYW news. I

Am going to foward this email to them and every other news organization

That will listen to my story. $405.00 on a $69.57 overdraft is insane.

Your agents never made us aware of this practice and we are appalled at

Your practice of taking innocent student's money. I paid the bank the

$70.00 they paid out but I will fight you for the $405.00 fee.

The best way you can help reward present customers and get new

Customers is to not steal your way to profitability. I will await a

Reply form you, as I am still awaiting a reply from Ms Breslin. Your

Apathy toward your customers breeds contempt for your bank and makes

Anyone experiencing this practice hate your bank.
