Ripoff - I filed a investigation report that was not investigated thoroughly

I filed a investgation report and waited three weeks to recieve back the results. They stated one generalized statement for all three of the disputed report errors. Many of the reported items were old and not currently dated they could have at least contacted the business's for updated info. I did and they said it would be changed when they notified the company & in another three weeks. These items could and should have been addressed by the reporting agency & what good is it for incorrect reports to be issued to business's who base their decisions on false reports.

It seems like there needs to be a law to upgrade any credit report before it can be issued. It should not be up to individuals to maintain the records of a company whose business it is to supply those records accurately. Liabilities should be established for inacurately interfereing with the credit abilities of business's and individuals.
