After I applied for CareCredit, I signed up for auto-pay on their website. They withdrew the payment every month but Dec. They called me to tell me that my payment was overdue and when I told them that I was on auto-pay, the customer service person told me they changed their computer system and some other customers had this same problem so they would stop calling me and remove the incident from my account which meant, "no late fee".

The late fee was still on my account so I called them to remove it and the the person I talked to said he wouldn't remove the late fee and that I missed a payment in August so he was going to charge me $48. I asked for his supervisor and that person said someone in my family had turned off auto-pay and CareCredit didn't have anything to do with it.

I am now going to contact my states Attorney General and Consumer protection agency to stop their fraudulent practices.
