How do I properly fire them? JK Harris - How do I fire them legally and pursue this directly with the IRS Phoenix, Arizona

I wish I would have found this information before we hired JK Harris. After two years and a couple of thousand dollars I realize I could have gotten better results dealing directly with the IRS myself.

I hoping someone can help with a 'gameplan' on how to properly and legally 'fire them' and then look at what avenues are available to TRY and get some if not all my money back.

What are the best steps to:

1. Dissolve the power of attorney agreement to fire them.

2. Get out of the financial contract with them.

I've read a couple of posts (that I can't seem to locate now) about people taking them to small claims court and succedding due to JK not having the manpower, time and resources to dispute the charges. Anyone have any success or information on this?

We did stick to our installment plan but were late on several payments due to TRUE financial hardship. I'm wondering if they would use this as an excuse as to not refund money due to us not fullfilling the payment agreement? Any thoughs?

What really burns me is how the agent went through her presentation and with a straight face sold us a load of crap. I wonder how she sleeps at night!
