Deceptive, lied, ripoff, fraudulent company ripoff

I hired JK Harris to help with my tax debt and they told me they would "Get the IRS off my back" and not to worry, that now it was in their hands. They said once the IRS receives the letter of representation from them that legally they cannot contact me and if the IRS attempts to contact me to just tell them that I hired JK Harris and that the IRS would have to leave me alone. That was in February and to date JK Harris has not done a thing for us.

Despite numerous attempts to contact them they switched specialists on us, they keep changing their story and lying to us and when I finally made contact with them they told me my case was closed and that I didn't owe the IRS any money.

Now after 10 months interest and penalities have doubled and the little bit of response I did get from JK Harris they requested that I send them all these documents and now they have all my personal information. The IRS tells me that JK Harris has never contacted them.in fact, we just received a notice that the IRS was going to put a levy on our assets. I've read some other reports about people having problems so that is why I am writing and after reading about others I am going to take them to small claims court but I am also going to write a letter to the Attorney General of the State of New York.

I will not let this company get away with this. Someone has to hold them accountable. I don't care how long it takes. They cannot be allowed to get away with this. I just can't believe I was so vulunerable.
