Call About $9,000 Visa Debt Based on 2005 Court Order

I got a phone call yesterday at 8:30 am from Portfolio RC, they told me that I have a debt of $9000. I said what are you talking about, they told me in 2005 they sent me a court order to pay the money for a dept. I owed for a visa card. I think the amount of money I owed was $2000 and now I owe them is over $9000. They haven't called me since yesterday, which was 8/12/09, I'm planning too file bankruptcy. I hope the law would stop companies like this would be put out of business. Eugene
