These people are thieves, my account wasnt active yet and they took a 39.95 membership fee Las Vegas Nevada

I was searching for a solution for my credit problems when I was approved for a line of credit of 7,500. The application was immeditaley appproved and I ageed to pay a fee of 1.95, however before I had a chance to even activate the credit card that was sent to me, I noticed on my bank statement a charge for 39.95 for a so called membership fee. I was suppossed to have a 7 day trial period, but why should I have been charged for something I hadnt that had not been activated yet? I cant believe people can get away with that.
