Small Over-Limit Charge Led To Several Fines On Credit Card

I thought these days banks treasure their good reliable spenders but I was so wrong after talking to their customer service one night last week. Apparently part of their credit card business (not sure about the others because I really don't like BofA all along) is based on "gotcha, bastard!".

I was literally $13 over my 20K limit in May when I paid a club membership that's worth 16K thru my their visa card. Then I was slapped on a $39 fine, which I complained about and got it refunded, but then I was charged $49 followed by another $14.

This bank is not for real. It's clear to me part of their core business model is built on their clients' carelessness instead of their credit worthy, nor relationships. The "I win, because you screw up, ha ha" childish mindset explains why banks like this are crooks and should not be rewarded with any business whatsoever, and their arrogant customer service, let alone a bail out.

I spent close to 100K through them since May. Knowing this bank is such a mean bank I should have taken the business to somewhere else. Shame on me.

It's never too late. Just closed this thing once and for all. No regret from either side.

Bye bye BofA. I hope your chapter 11 is just around the corner.
