Increase in interest rates

Have experienced a Citibank charge card since 1997 having a borrowing limit of $25,000: notice arrived in December that my rate of interest had been elevated from 9.99% to 14.99%, then on July 20th, obtained a my price had been elevated again to 29.99%. I maintain a stability, but haven't been overdue, etc. I've named Citibank and opted out. I've named the Clark Howard display, got several guidelines from them, have submitted a using the Federal Trade Commission, have informed my Usa Senators and Reps have named Citibank lender back and attempted to sort out anything with them, but simply got the work-a round. I've a great credit rating, therefore could keep a check up on it to determine if this affects me.
