Check my credit report and saw this on there, called them to work out something. Immediately they demanded payment in full, told them I thought Medicaid had paid this, I then talked to people at Medicaid and was told no they had not. Call collector back to see if could work out a plan, they told me most they could do was 3 months.

I am fixed income, they then ask about my ssn numbers, phone numbers, bank account and credit card numbers. I informed them if they did not have my phone how is it they said they called and mailed me.

They kept demanding full payment, and then supervisor got on phone and offered a deal of me paying only 80% of it. I once again explained fixed income, and that I wanted to work out a payment plan, supervisor said that it was not their policy to do that. He then asks if I had family or friends I could borrow from, or something I could get a loan on. As doing this he kept asking for bank numbers and such.

From research this company is part of Account Management Systems (AMS) based in Florida http://www.amscollects.com / they try hard to make me feel as if they were the lords and I was a peasant, really degrading and felt dirty after talking to them. I will pay this but will do so as I can.
