One account carried as two and foreclosure filed on a closed account

Fairbanks carried one account as two accounts. I had constant harassing calls and letters after letters. They were very rude. Even though they knew that the account they were foreclosing on was closed, they went forward anyway.

Fairbanks Capital Corp filed to foreclose on my house. My attorney attempted over and over to stop their action by faxing them the court document indicating that the case was no longer open. They said that they would conduct an investigation, and they did not foreclose. They also took out flood insurance on the account that did not exist, as well as on the existing account. When they closed out the closed account, they dropped the insurance, therefore dropping the insurance on the open account.

Fairbanks increased my mortgage payment on the open account but dropped it because I no longer had insurance on the non-existing account, and said that they would only refund my payments after I showed proof of insurance. But they were the ones who took out the insurance.
