Where to start... It all started when my husband and I were desperate for money because I am supposed to be going on a modeling trip and meeting new modeling agents. He found this so called awesome loan place and had been talking to this guy named David Winters from Statewide Funding Corp. I trust my husband and decided that since he felt safe about it then I would go along with all of this...

We applied for a $9,000 loan and he required a deposit of 1,920.04. Most places when you are applying for certain types of loans do require a deposit so we didnt think much of it. BUT then I got a funny feeling about it and called him back and he said we could look him up on the BBB so we did! After seeing that the company was supposidally in buisiness since 1988 and was supposidally accredited in 2000 I felt a little better.
We then went to fax him the info that he had requested. This information that he requested was a copy of S.S. Card, drivers license, pay stub information, and a copy of the bank statement. After he recieved that information he faxed us over the "contract" that included the payments due and so on. We sent that back and then got a Western Union Money order and had to send it to East Lansing, MI to an individual named Tara Smith.
The money order was not picked up until 22:36 military time or 10:36pm. I was on the phone with the western union company trying to cancel the order because I did further research and found out it was a scam, but she was picking up the money as we spoke. Now we are out that 2grand have no money left to do anything with not even pay our bills!!
