Force-placed insurance and foreclosure letters despite on-time payments

I had heard from friends that this company was no good, but ignored them and then started getting harassing phone calls and threatening letters of foreclosure along with force placed insurance. Then tonight, while watching channel 13 "News you can Use, " I then found out that I'm not alone in all this and that this company really is a burden to its mortgage holders.

After being transferred from Equicredit to Fairbanks Capital Corp., our mortgage has been nothing but problems. We first started receiving letters of foreclosure two days after the due date because of payments not received when we had sent them out on time and they get there a day late. Then came letters of force-placed insurance when we had homeowners insurance. Letter after letter and the escrow account keeps getting bigger.

Countless calls to their servicing center, and no answer, just machines. Finally getting through to talk to a warm body on the other end of the line, yet they have no answer. We faxed and faxed and faxed copies of homeowners insurance policy and after about 6 months of faxing they finally received it and then made us pay for the six months of coverage that we had through there insurance lender, even though we already had insurance. This company is a disgrace and I'm glad that I'm not alone and hopefully with these letters someone will see some sort of trend and pursue a law suit or look into why this company is still in business.
