Overdraft Fee for 3 cents?

I've been a loyal customer for Wachovia for about 3 years now and NEVER went into over draft until a few weeks ago they charged me an overdraft fee of 35.00 for three pennies! Are they serious? I've called numerous time to get this off because i feel that it was very petty to charge 35.00 for 3 cents. I have the way2save account which was included with the account which is to keep you from going into overdraft so how is that helping?

Well your guess is as good as mine. The customer reps i spoke to were making it seem that i was wrong and they were right until i talk to another rep and he refunded the fee back saying that was ridiculous to charge a 35.00 fee for 3 cents. This was a courtesy but he did say that i need to keep and eye on my account from here on in to make sure that this doesn't happen again because as you know Wachovia is hungry for money, so hungry, that they would charge you a fee for even less than a dollar. WoW!!!
