Fairbanks Captial Aka Equicredit ripoff deceptive company

Linda in ohio here, in response to a posting on this web site. I have very much so appreciated all the response to my posting on this web page and will continue to do so. I have called the nationwide toll free number listed for hud. The response from them is they don't handle this. The ohio attorney general was not much different. As far as the credit report goes i have done the writing to have it corrected. Also spoke with fairbanks after the forbearance that was signed about the foreclosure still showing up.

They told me that it will stay on there as far as they are concerned and will just show on hold. All credit corrections site's i have seen state that if you had been under foreclosure and signed a forbearance that they must remove the forclosure of the report. Fairbanks never heard of this.

Also i was told the account would reflect current to date with the forbearance in effect. And said that we should not have a problem refinancing due to the fact it should show current.
Well that is not the case at all. It shows us paying but paying on back due amounts not current. It is showing that we are still behind just not as much.in my books that still shows in default. Which is not true due to the forbearance agreement signed. To be updated to present date.

No corrections to date on the unjustified fees either.
We are hoping this will not be the way out for them saying we are just paying on the back amount and nothing to present amount. It will never get updated if that is the case.

This has to stop somewhere!!!
