Bogus Insurance, and Fraudulant Settlement Offers, TRASH YOUR CREDIT

I had a $250 and a $500 credit cards in 2002 with Capital One, I lost my job and had been paying extra for protection on the card when you lose your job the insurance is supposed to pay the payments. I filed all the paperwork and the payments were never made. I was off work so long that the total amount should have been paid off.
I moved and was never informed that they had not paid the amount. Upon looking at my credit report recently I found that they had put Charge Offs on these accounts Each YEAR TO KEEP THEM ON MY CREDIT REPORT and charged interest so that the amounts owed were now well over $1000 for the $250, and @ $1800 for the $500 card.
Both cards were scheduled to be removed from my credit report June of this year. They offered me a settlement agreement, for Paid in settlement. $648, and assured me they would completely remove this from my credit report since it was scheduled to be removed this month anyway.
My credit report has now been updated on this account showing: Paid in settlement. $648 written off. Which is the same as saying a charge off, and now will not be removed until 2012.
They also used this to update the other card somehow and now it will not be removed until 2012 also. They are offering a settlement on this one too.
Do not trust this company, they are liars, theives, and will screw up your credit for years even you when make efforts in good faith to cure THEIR SCREW UPS!!! I did not owe this money in the first place, their "INSURANCE" is BULL, don't buy into it. I paid for it and am still paying for it.
