Chase bank - do not do business with these people

My story is not uncommon, however the rates and the level of punishment for 5 days of making the payment past the due date is just ridiculous.

I have been a Washington Mutual customer for 3 years and the card services were fair and clearly understood. When Chase bought out Washington Mutual things changed. I have never missed a payment with either of these companies this is not even an event reportable to the credit bureau as they are only reported to when a payment is past due over 30 days. What they did was to take my interest rate from 12.24% to 27.24%. That is a 222.55% increase in rate for 5 days late. This is just not right and I will report this matter to every agency I can including your people at usacomplaints.com. This is a classic case of the fleecing of America. I feel we just do not have to stand for it.

I am starting a grass roots boycott of everything Chase for their unfair business practices.

Please consider this request to inform the public of their actions and together we can stop them from Fleecing Americans.
