I will never in my life go into this website ever again. Nor should anyone!!! On May 12 I went via online to apply for cash advance personal loan. The website "LAST CHANCE CASH ADVANCE" pops up. I placed all of my personal information through this site for which I should have been more guarded in sending. After after sending my application for approval the site freezes, and then does not say yes or no approved, but all of these offers come up, I declined all of the offers. I am then bumped into a different website to apply for a loan. I close the internet window. Today Wednesday May 13 I check my online banking, and I see a debit for $33.98 from a "ID PROTECTION SERVICES". I immediately called my bank informed them of the delimna, and they said unfortunately, I would have to contact these folks for a refund before placing a fraud claim report. I called id protection services. After holding for about 5 minutes some representative very nasty, and unprofessional gets on the phone, asks me for my social, and so since she was nasty, I also got nasty with her as well. I began screaming angrily into the phone about the issue. I have learned from by bank that my checkling will be overdrawn with overdraft fees by this mess. The rep states they have the terms and conditions placed on the site about the fees. "YEAH RIGHT!" The rep thenplaces me on hold for about 4 minutes, and then comes back on the line. She then provides me some "confirmation code" and a website called "www.idtheftrefund.com" to request the refund of the money taken. I go the webste placed this so-called confirmation code in along with my e-mail address and reason for the refund. WTF? After doing this I called ID Protection back and ask if they are going to refund my overdraft fees as well? They replied, "no, only the debit." I told them, "THIS IS UTTER BullS&@#! Please folks, i repeat do not waste your time, effort, sending your personal information into some of these websites!!! I have learned a valuable lesson behind this. $105.00 in overdraft fees, and the $33.98=$115.46 for something I never requested or was interested in. I declined all of the offers, and they still sign you up. Poor business practices!!!
