Id theft protection is a fraud

ID Theft Protection is a complete fraud. They operate through 2 internet sites that I know of. Lastchancecashadvance.com and trifecta.com. I applied for a cash advance online and about 2 weeks later a "check" from this company was presented to my bank in the amount of $31.85. I had no idea who these people were because none of the loan agreements I signed or the websites indicated that you would be automatically signed up for this so called protection service. I called the 800 number provided by my bank and the representatice I spoke with informed that even though they don't tell you you are being signed up you are signed up anyway. I cancelled the service and was told to go to a website to "apply for a refund" I knew something was up then. I put in all my information they requested and they supposedly sent me an email which I never received. I spoke with them via their live chat and was then finally sent an email and was told I was denied the refund because my IP address had been logged as submitting this information and they were not at fault it was through my own error that I was signed up and they only refund for stolen identity. The so called "refund" website they gave me www.idtheftrefund.com clearly states click here if you were signed up by mistake for a refund. These people are unbelieveable and needs to have a class action suit filed against them as well as the cash advance site that is helping them steal people's hard earned money. Wouldn't they think if people had money to throw away they would not be applying for a cash advance. Someone needs to put them out of business
