US Bank
Internet banking is very unreliable - Internet Banking

Business & Finance

All people wishing to join US Bank or who already bank with US Bank should be aware that the internet banking is very unreliable. During any typical day the amount that the internet banking says you have will change dramatically, and you WILL be charged unfairly.

You also need to be aware that this is FRAUD. The internet banking is designed to be deceitful, yesterday at 5:00 AM, it told me I had 88 dollars by the afternoon the next day I had negative 400 dollars, I had spent 61.

When I say that the internet banking is designed to be deceitful I mean that the internet will tell you that you have money that you dont have with the assumption that you will check the internet and spend money that you think you have in an effort to "help" you overdraft your account. This is so they can make money off of you. I am not the only US Bank customer that will tell you about these problems, they do not want to help you unless you have a substantial amount of money in their bank. I think that the best course of action from here is to get many present and former US Bank customers together and file a class action lawsuit charging US Bank with fraud, we need to protect ourselves from fraud, not only identity theft, but actual theft.US Bank has STOLEN money from me and hundreds of others.

The managers at the bank will only tell you that the internet banking updates at different times and that you should keep your own records, but that will not help either. The bank will charge you based on the available balance of your account not the ledger balance that you keep or ledger balance that they have access to. What this means for you: This means that if have 50 dollars and you spend 51 dollars at 5 different places you will not only be charged for the one time that you went over, but for all 5 pending charges.

I caution everyone wishing to use this bank to be aware of these issues and to choose another bank.
