Any upfront fees charged by a company should be reported to the Federal Trade Commision and the State Banking and Mortgage lending for these activities.

The FTC has a web site where you can file a complaint against individual who seem to want to profit from the people that are trying to apply for the make homes affordable plan. The FTC has a claim form with help in filing a complaint. I should have checked RIPoff first... I have filed a complaint against Quicken Loans and the have agreed to credit back my money to my account within 5-7 days.
