Sales reps lie to you get your business

A sales rep by the name Andy Birsa contacted me about doing credit card processing. He said that he was from US Bank. Do to my need, I went through the process of getting set up without shopping around. Andy assured me that there was no contract. That when I was done using the service I could just cancel. Andy also sold me on going with them by telling me that they give "next day" funding. Meaning if I close out the credit card machine by 10 pm, the funds will appear in my account the next morning. After shopping around I found rates that were a lot better. When I called Andy (several times) to see if they could match these rates, he wasn't reachable. He doesn't answer his phone or return messages. So I proceeded to set up with another company to get the better rates. When I called US Bank/Evalon Inc to cancel my service, I found out that Andy put me in a 3 year contract. I am being charged $295 to cancel my processing. Turns out the "next day" funding was also a lie. The funds do not show up for a few days just like every other processing company. Watch out for this company and any guy who calls named Andy Birsa.
