Unauthorized Credit Card Charges!

Business & Finance

Customer service calls to confirm your order, and they need to record everything. They asked me if my address and phone number where correct. And I said "correct".. They said "we need you to say yes or no"..

So I said "yes" They offered a free 14 day trial in which after the trial was over, my card would be automatically billed monthly if I wanted to keep the program? I thought scam right away..

So I said "NO"!! They called 4 times after that. I told them I was not interested, and I found my credit card had been billed $47. So I disputed it through my credit card company, canceled my card to get a new one. Filed a complaint with the BBB; and found this web site:)

Hope this helps people, cause I was pretty hot. I'm laid off, and this is the last thing laid off people need. But I guess the smart thing is just to stay away from anything that says "make money online". Even if it says "as seen on CNN, MSN, AOL, etc... By the way "TN Removal" is what comes up on caller ID..?
