Credit Limit Reduced From $10,000 to $500 After Paying Off Card

American Express has been my credit card of choice since 1982. I recently paid off a credit card that had a $10,000 limit. They just email informed me that my new credit limit is $500.00 Who are they kidding? When times get good again, and they will, will I ever return?
Nope.
