Ripoff will screw your credit! Dishonest

I used Lending Tree based on a recommendation from a friend. I should have known better!!!

I used it to get a car loan for a new car purchase - figured it'd be easier than shopping around. It WAS very easy to use and I did get a great loan amount/rate. What I didn't expect to get were numerous inquiries on my credit report (which dropped my score SEVERAL SEVERAL -as in high double digit - points).

I only had 3 loan offers presented to me via the website, and in addition I have recieved at least 20 different pieces of junkmail about car loan offeres in the past 2 months. I OCCASIONALLY got junkmail offering pre-approval etc for car loans, now I get them all the time - and it started after my application with Lending Tree.

I have heard some people have a good experience with Lending Tree - but I wondered if they checked their credit reports afterwards!!
