Hfc hsbc) is a predatory lender that hould be investigated. Misrepresentation that interest rate will be reduced after 12 on time mortgage payts. When questioned about loan modification refinancingpay deferrment, lowering loan payts or interest rates under new govt guidelines. They seem to have no interest. I was told if i'm paying my mortgage what's the need? Other lenders are calling customers, mailing, and even emailing trying to get in touch with us to offer us these new programs. Are they getting govt bailout money and if so why arent they obligated to participate wholeheartedly in this program?
This is one area the govt fell short in. They should have gone after these predatory lenders.
