Gave me credit card number to another company!

I saw this ad on Facebook for access to grant information for only $1.99. Since most of these companies charge way more than that I thought it was a good deal.

What i did not notice in the small print was that if you do not cancel within 7 days they would charge you $58.61. But they sort of hid it in case you just skim over words. They put it as fifty eight dollars and sixty one cents. So i missed it. A week later I see the charge on my account which because i was low caused me to have overdraft fees! So I called 877-260-9455 to gripe and they showed me exactly how to get to that wording by sigining up as abc on everything. They told me to put abc in every box. This tells me they have to explain this often to other fools like me.

So I canceled. Now 2 weeks later I see ANOTHER charge on my account from benefit-today.com for $35.75 and that I did NOT authorize nor have I ever heard of them. I know for a fact I had not made any purchases with my credit card on line in quite awhile. Checked that web site and it has services one being help with grants. It must have been grantforyou who sold them my number! I called the 866-576-0187 and got a company in the Phillipines. Told them I never authorized this. They said they would cancel and I said I wanted a refund too or i would fight this. Spoke to Gursam and he said he would give the refund.

Went to the bank and cancelled that card! I cannot believe anyone can charge your card like that. So who knows who else has my card info so it was best to just cancel it.

PLEASE be careful with the ads on Facebook. They should really be careful on who they allow to run ads on there.
