I have been both a personal and business customer of AMX for 27 years. Until recently I have found them to be good business partners.

Warning: they have and will curtail or in some cases suspend your charging without any notice. Even if you are current and in good standing.

Their reasoning, their ongoing assessment of you as an individual credit risk based on information gathered. They would not disclose this information. A review of my credit reports revealed nothing.

Many of you read recent news reports that AMX was "profiling" customers based on purchase habits. I have no idea how this works or why it would affect me since my charges are business related and plain vanilla.

I am now receiving notices that charging priviledges have been declined prior to an upcoming payment. When called you will be given slick excuses etc. But no facts.

American Express is no longer a trustworthy business partner. More, I believe that they are violating their contracts, state and federal law with spurious excuses. If have experienced these issues or others you may be interested in joining a pending class action suit coupled with a demand for a review by the appropriate Federal departments.
