GE Money
The companies Frauded me out of money and bought furniture through my credit card without me even knowing it!

I opened an account with Zimmerman's furniture over 2 years ago, and purchased some furniture and of course I wouldn't have to pay on it for over a year and therfore they never sent me out a statement.

In September of I started receiving calls from GE Money Bank saying that my account was way overdue and it was at $6000 (when my purchase was only $2400)!! They said they had sent me out statements (which had 2 wrong addresses on the account, and I have never lived at those residents). They had all my information, and telephone numbers wrong, so I corrected all the information so the bills would come to me.

Then to find out that someone (whether it was inside the company Zimmerman's) but someone had purchased more furniture on 3 different days and put on my card and I had no idea! Zimmerman's has no record of signatures for those purchases and say that they can't help me anymore. GE Money says that someone had been paying payments online for awhile for the furniture, but then just stopped and now the interest has racked up, and my payments are $205 a month and $141 of that goes towards interest.

I have written 3 complaints to GE Money and they have responded only 2 times saying that they can't help me b/c it's been over the year mark when the purchases were made, and they also cannot tell me who made those payments online either. I suspect their is big time fraud going on, and I am willing to pay for the original payment of $2400 but not for the finanace charges or anything else since someone had gotten ahold of my card and I did not authorize those purchases! Help!!!
