On 1/16/09, a police officer for my city found my bank card in the parking lot of the nearby Mcdonalds. He took the card into posession, called my bank and asked them to contact me to let me know that my card was retrieved. My bank never called me and as soon as I found out that I didn't have my card I called Bank of America. The associate I talked to told me that he would order the card and that it would be overnight expressed to me by the next day. He assured us that he had ordered the card and that it would be to our residence in twenty four hours.

The next day the card did not arrive. I called Bank of America again and the associate I talked to told me that the card was submitted and that Fed Ex would have it to me by Tuesday, since Monday was a holiday. After speaking with them for fourty mintues, I asked to speak to their supervisor. The supervisor told me that the card was shipped and that again, it would not be here until Tuesday and that she could do nothing for me. I then asked for the tracking number for Fed Ex and she told me that she did not have one.

I then called Fed Ex and they told me that there was nothing in their system with my address. I again called Bank of America and, yet again spoke to a different associate who told me that the replacement card would not be here until Tuesday via U.S. Postal Mail. At this point they tell me to call the emergency line for Visa to try and forward us some money, something the associate on Friday could have told us, but neglected to.

After my fiance and I spoke to this woman for about twenty minutes asked for another supervisor. This lady was rude to begin with and then told us that the card was sent via Fed Ex again but it would not be sent out until Tuesday. Both my check and my fiances check is direct deposited into this account and we have no way of accessing money without the card unless we go to an ATM or banking center. There is no banking center near us, the nearest one is in Fort Campbell, Ky which is almost five hours away. We talk to her for almost fourty-five minutes with no solution to the problem. She continued to get rude with both of us throughout the phone call with no resolution.

We talked to a total of seven associates who, each associate gave us different information. I have no access to mine or my fiances payroll checks, and Bank of America nor their associates gave us any relevant or truthful information to try and rectify the situation. She again told me to call the Visa emergency funds number to get emergency cash. After speaking to the representative at the Visa emergency center, she told me that I cannot get funds through them because they only assist cardholders who are traveling, and the Bank of America knows their policies on emergency funds. I am again on the phone with another Bank of America associate for the ninth time and she is again giving me the run around about this situation. I am currently on hold with another supervisor for this company.
