Business & Finance

I owe money... I have a small business that after 33 years is going out of business. I have a building for sale.
this creditor sent me a collection letter, then 2 summons with no date to appear. I contacted them told them my problem, I found out today that they had taken my money out of my account. That will be causing 3 checks to bounce. I called them today they said they had won. I have no notice of were to appear, when to appear. Just they had won. I believe the summons were fake. They told me to get a lawyer... If I had money for a lawyer I would have money to pay my bills. I also found out today that this collector has been sued and maybe will be disbarred. What can I do... They are rude I know I owe money I told them as soon as my building sells I will pay in full.

All this will do is I will put no more money in my account. The money they took 269.63 was most of the check my Mother-in-law gave my husband for his birthday. (she is 87 years old) we have no income.

After learning what other people have been through with this collector, I think and believe that all his efforts are dishonest and againist the law.
Anyone out there wanting to sue???
