Business & Finance

I check my online checking account like clockwork, so when i noticed an unfamiliar charge WHICH caused me to overdraft on my account I got suspicious. I called my bank to find out what other info regarding the charge they could give me. They gave me an 888 number, but I'll be darned if i'm going to call a crook and risk getting scammed again. I told my bank I wanted to dispute the charges and cancel my check card. I'm told I will receive a complete refund. I still don't know how they got my card #. I do pay majority of my bills online, so who knows. Also I read someone elses complaint saying they used restaurants.com and they think it was embedded or something. I have done business with them in the past... Who knows? How can companies get away with this? We need to shut these fraudulant scammers down!!!
