Was on my credit report, I call the # nothing... I can't buy a home now

What do I do now? How the heck do I get this off my credit? This is so frustrating. I have checked with the BBB to find NCO's address that I have and it is not listed with them. The amount is for $400 even and was put in collections on 1/08. And what is Medclr??? I haven't seen anyone post anything about this? Can you or some one please en-lighten me!!!
