Rip-off phony fees charged

Sirs: I have a credit card from First Premier Bank. I was charged a $25.00 over limit fee on 1/20 and another on 1/21. I was NEVER, NOT EVER, over limit based on my purchases.

I have had the account for almost a year and pay the full balance on the card each month. On one or two occasions I paid $300 or $350 on a $400 balance. I have NEVER made a late payment and in fact pay within a day of getting the statement in most months.

At the end of the January billing period, a yearly fee was added at the end of the billing period with no notice to me of when it would be added. I check my balance by phone nearly every day just to be careful, and never knew it was added until I got my statement on 1/28.

I called that day and the first over limit charge was credited, but I was never told there was a second one, both arising not from my purchases but from their addition of a fee without telling me when it would be added. It is clear that the fee is added at the end to deliberatlely generate as much phony fee revenue as possible. This is outright consumer fraud, it not theft.

Anyway, I was never told of the 1/21 second over limit fee in my pnone conversation of 1/28. Remember that my $350 was already credited to my account by 2/1. I was charged $50 for over limit when the only thing that put me over limit was their fee. Also remember that I was never, ever late on the account and had a spotless payment record.

I do not know how these people can look in a mirror. I spoke with a supervisor named Corine, who was rude and insulting to me. I cancelled my card due to the fraudulent and dishonest way they do business.
