Discriminated against me because I am disabled!

Quicken loans was given accurate information from us, they promised that we would qualify to refinance our mortgage so we paid then $500.00. During the process we were asked to supply a letter from my doctor stating that I was permanently disabled and they wanted a copy of my disability insurance policy. I am hopefully not permanently disabled so of course was unable to supply them with this information.

I am still receiving treatment and am a candidate for surgery. My insurance company was surprised that they wanted a copy of my disabilty policy, stating that it is confidential information. Please keep in mind that they were told that I was on long term disabilty before they took our $500.00 and promised that we would get this money back when we closed our loan. At one point I even asked if they required letters from all of their potential customers employers stating that they would be employed in 3 years.

They told us that our loan would close by Christmas. That was a total lie. Even if everything went according to plan we still would not have closed by Christmas. It was an expensive lesson for us, please beware!!!
