Ripoff. Fairbanks Capital is a Loan Shark ripoff business from hell

I am a Widow residing in Lillington, NC. My original loan was sold to Fairbank Capital, 9/14. What a nightmare that didn't end until 3.

It began with a late payment right to foreclosure notices.

I was in the process of selling the property and they still served foreclosure letters with the incorrect address of the property.

Drug me to foreclosure court for it to be cancelled due to Fairbanks not having the proper paper work. All along charging me their "fees", late, drive by fees, lawyer fees, etc.

Their threats were unbearable. I almost had a nervous breakdown.

Needless to say they cost me a potential buyer because my keys didn't fit the locks anymore and I still owned the property.

Fairbanks contracted a Real Estate company to handle changing the locks and preparing property for sale, even though it was not foreclosed on. They broke every screen out of the house, to try and pry open the windows to get in. No one notified me.

The agent they sent out told my neighbors why she was there and that the property was foreclosed. More embarrassment.

Then Fairbanks called my Real Estate Agent and threatened her in order to get their money, even though we had a sign contract with deposit and settlement date with a lawyer. The fees continued to mount.

Went to court again, for it to be cancelled, due to the lawyer not having proper papers.

Fairbanks then delayed giving the settlement lawyer the final figures, which threw the settlement another week. Costing me another $2500.00 in their fees and charges.

By the time they got done with me, I paid back the original loan amount, $99,000 after paying for 3 yrs on the mortgage. I also had to take a terrible loss on the property because they would not work with me and I had to sell it just to get rid of Fairbanks.

After the property was sold. The Real Estate Agent Fairbanks contracted to come out to the property, showed up to get the property ready for sale. It still was not over. They did not contact her to advise of the sale.

I, too, seeked legal recourse, but the lawyer would not sue them.

Please help. They got my money. Lets stop them from getting anyone elses.
