Mailed them money for a loan. Wanted another 1,500 and I canceled. Money never sent back

I needed money for bills. Went on the internet and they came up and called me. They told me I had the loan. Then called back and told me to fax them 1,500 for security. Called me back and wanted 1,500 more. Then I said no and the said they would mail me back a check and never heard from them again.
