Took my money for 1&1/2 years for debt consoladation, now I am being garnished

In 2004 I became disabled and got into a lot of credit card debt. I called this company and was pleased by the way things started out. I received my calls, and income information.

The calls stopped coming so I tried to get intouch with the company. Their machine always says it is closed no matter what time I called. My e-mails were never answered.

3 days ago I was informed by my landlord that my check had bounced. I was then informed by my credit union that my check which is a social security income check was being held for payment to garnishment. I now have to try to borrow monies to pay rent, lights, phone, and insurance.

I still have not heard from the company, but i promise you they will be trying to get intouch with me next month on the 5th because they will not be getting paid.
