Ripoff dirty ripoff liars

I was told by this company that by joining this would help me rebuild my credit. The lady on the phone told me if I paid 199.95 I would receive a platinum visa card with approval of 4,000 guranteed.

All I had to do was once I received it I had to buy something that cost 99.00 and make 3 consecutive payments of 30.00 to show all the credit agencies that I was trying to rebuild my credit. So I paid them by check over the phone. Once this was completed I received a package with some catalogs of things to purchase and no major credit card. I immediately called the 800 and spoke to one of there reps., she advised me that I had to buy something from this catalog for the amount of 99.95 and pay them 3 consecutive payments to show I could pay on time and then they would try to help me get a credit card. With no gurantee of 4000.

I was very upset and immediately advised her that this was not what I was told and demanded a refund. She advised me that I had to wait until they ordered my tape conversation with the rep who sighned me up. I couldn't belive it but I agreed. So three days past I called again, they stated they had not received the tape yet. Gave it two more days finally I became very rude over the phone. I told the rep I had waited long enough and that I am a single mother and that I needed my money now. Unbeliveable she agreed to give me a refund, she stated I had to return the package first right back to them and it would take up to 15 days for my refund to be given back. She gave me a ran number which was the date of my phone call saying I had to put it on front of the package.

So I returned the package and it has been about 46 days and I have not seen anything back in my bank. I tried calling them back again and what do you know there line was disconnected. I called information and got a local number of 813-282-9880, I tried calling this and was on hold for like 15 minutes mind you I paying for this long distance call... So out of frustration I hung up the phone and tried later; well now everytime I try the line is busy no matter what time of the day it is. I am at lost for words and don't know what else to do. I hope that this can help other people out there and to not believe anything over the mail, phone, or internet any more. Don't pay a cent for anything like this.
