Last year I got a phone call from NCS saying that i qualified for a major credit card with a credit limit of $4,000. I was told that if I wanted to start repairing my credit, I had to pay an upfront fee $199. So I gave them my bank account info and waited. I gave them a date to take the money out so I could make sure the money was there. About 3 days before I put the money in my account I called them and told them that I decided not to take the card because I feel on hard times and could'nt afford to do that at that time. They told me that I couldn't cancel. I told them that once the package comesto me I would return it and they said that if the package didn't state everything they told me I could get a refund within 30 days.

A few weeks went by and I didn't recieve my package. I called to find out what was going on and they told me they would send me some extra merchandise vouchers. So I, m thinking, "what the hell are they talking about merchandise vouchers?" I waited again and I didn't recieve it so I went through the whole calling process again. They had to send it to me UPS. Apparently, it was the 3rd package that they sent out.

I finally got it and when I opened the package I didn't find a major credit card. I called them and spoke to a supervisor, who told me that they had a tape of the conversation and I was told that it was a catalog credit card. They said that I will get a major credit card after I purchase something for $99 and send in 3 monthly payments off $33.
