Since I have had an account with FNBM I have accumulated excess charges that I can't account for. Recently 1/22/03 I made a payment of 210.19 over the web. The next day I made a payment of 400.00 to bring my balance to zero.
When I called the find out when my payments will go through. I was told since I made payments back to back they both will "cancel out" each other and they took another check by phone for 610.19. The next day 1/24/03 I found out that the payments that were supposed to "cancel out" actually went through and now they have my additional payment of 610.19.
Today 1/29/03 I go on the web to check my account and now I have 2 returned fees of 29.00 each and I now realized that I have an additional returned check fee (now 3 29.00 fees). When the money has always been there. MYSTERIOUSLY the first three numbers of my checking account disapeared! Therefore actually I'm being charged 87.00 plus an additional 29.00 in late fees because the cheking account number was MYSTERIOUSLY shortened.
I think that if there was an error on my part the web would have caught a shortened account number! Now the only way I can get only two Returned fees as "EXTRA CREDIT" on my account is to pay extra money to MONEY GRAM it to them and pay an additional 6.00 for their fee!
