Unwanted insurance, extra payments and a court date over mortgage

We took out a second mortgage, and that company sold it to Fairbanks. We have had nothing but problems with them. They add on payments that have nothing to do with the mortgage, and then they went and bought insurance for our account even though we already had homeowners insurance from our first mortgage.

I told them off about that, and they canceled the insurance they bought. Now they are taking us to court and saying we are not paying our mortgage, meanwhile cashing the checks we are sending. We have a lawyer, and we are going to court on Feb. 19. They are using another name; they say it is Residential Money Centers. If someone could get back to me on what else to do with this company, please do.
