Chase Bank
Slipped in NSF fee to my account after I deposited money, even though it was not in the negative when I deposited it

Business & Finance

I have direct deposit, which post right away. I was very close to having no money left (bills) and I went and took out 10 dollars. I realized on my online bank statement that something I had charged mon. Had not been taken out, which would put me in the negative by about 4 dollars. I quickly borrowed 10 bucks and put it into the bank. I thought everything would fine and even used a couple of the leftover dollars. I checked the online bank and everything was still in the clear.

Low and behold Wed. Rolls around and they have slipped a 32.00 fee in applying to Tues. Even though I used my card on Tues. Night (about 8: oopm) and now have a negative balance of 31.33. I was told by a very rude teller that the place I went to use my card on Tues. Only make sure the acct. Is open and her manager actually agreed with her, wow did you know that, NO, because it is untrue. I was lied to. Apparently this bank may slip in charges whenever they like in thier favor. They will print you up a paper that makes it look like the charges were always there, but my online bank and ATM said something different. I don't know if the tellers are told to do this, but I am done with that bank before it happens again.
