We mailed a $1,300.00 check for deposit to our Wachovia Bank checking account in Dothan, Alabama. September 1 the bank admitted receiving the deposit Tuesday, September 2, and told me it would be processed after midnight. They would not, however honor my debit card to purchase necessary prescriptions on Thursday. Automatic bill pay was suspended. The bank will not refund "Late" charges. They used our money for a week; paid no interest and gave us no access to our funds. This action is obscene and an insult to their so called Senior Citizen friendly policy.
