Real Estate Coaching, Real Estate Mentoring, Paid $15,000 for Platinum Program, almost 1 year later, no results, no deals, refused to pay refund

Business & Finance

Hello, almost an entire year ago, I had signed up to work 1 on 1 with a millionaire coach and learn how to build a real estate investment business from the ground up.

I found Todd Bockman's website (www.millionairecoaching.com) and after many promising conversations with him over the phone, I decided to join his 3 year mentoring program and learn how to build a successful real estate business. I googled his name as well as his website, and found no bad reviews, or any reviews at all. After all, 15,000 dollars plus a 50/50 split on all transactions seemed a bit steep for his services, BUT there was a full 100% money back guarantee backing me. Even though he lives in AZ, which is more than 1600 miles from my place of residence, he was sure that everything he taught regarding investing worked in every location regardless of the economy and current market issues and that he could teach me over the phone.

I wanted to learn this business very badly, so I took him up on his offer. I worked my tail off weekly in my spare time driving around, locating properties, mailing letters, making contacts, calling homeowners etc. I was not getting the results I was after. I started to get suspicious after months going by and all the potential deals we had and offers he had me make were being rejected. I sent him emails after I got called a fraud on a few occasions for presenting the contracts he had me present to homeowners.

He basically told me to tell the homeowners we only do deals a certain way and if they didn't like it we couldn't do business. When I came to him with more questions about homeowners and our contracts, he acted very unprofessionally and would get very defensive. I was only asking questions because I wanted to learn how I could make the situation better. I asked him to go over the contracts with me so I could explain them in a respectable manner, but this just instigated heated arguments between my mentor and I.

When things were not working in our favor, he offered to make me some money in Forex trading. He asked me to open an account and send him my login info so he could trade for me. He said he wanted to teach me this business as well and would send me literature for me to study so he could teach me how to effectively trade currency on my own. I asked multiple times if the materials were in the mail but he kept delaying to send them. I was leery at first, but he convinced me he knew that market well. So I signed up, and he lost the money that I funded the account with, then reimbursing me with 2/3's of what he lost. He asked me to fund the account again; I did and then found out he lost all the money a 2nd time, so I closed the account.

In our contract it states that if I have made a total of 10 offers and didn't feel like I was on my way to achieving $100k in cash and/or equity I would be issued a full refund. It says on his website there is a 100% money back guarantee for his Platinum Coaching package!!! I have done all the work, have more 10 offers that were all rejected, and no results to show for it. I have since learned more about the business since joining a local investors club than I have learned from this mentoring program.

I have requested my refund to be issued in full, and have only gotten grief from him for the last 3 months. I know of another student of his who is having these exact issues.in my personal opinion, Todd Bockman is not a millionaire and is not qualified to be coaching others in real estate investments. I am also unsure if he is licensed or qualified to be trading foreign currency on behalf of his clients.
