Litton loan service... Who are these people?

We refinanced our home in Miami Beach early this year in February. Although the mortgage company we chose said they would not sell our loan, they still make you sign a waiver that they might. Ans so they did... To Litton Loan Servicing...

Although we have not received a statement form them yet, we did get 2 temporary payment stubs, after the first due date of July 1st. We only had a postcard notifying us they were our new loan company...

When the coupons were received, I called and asked if the terms were still the same where we had from the 1st to the 16th of the month to pay without a late fee... I was assured it was so and that because I had yet not received a payment book or monthly statement for the first 3 months of our loan with them there would be no late payment fees or penalties even if we did pay late... I even wrote the person's name down...

All of a sudden this month, as of the 3rd we have been getting nasty calls accusing us of being late on our August payment. When I told the rep what the representative told me in July, she practically called me a liar and said there was no such note on file... Impossible!!! In any case I told her I had time till the 16th... She said, "That is on Saturday"... And so it is!!! I replied... I told her I was the customer and not to interrupt and that I wanted to know if they had purchased my mortgage form my lender... After just saying "Yes"... She told me as I did not allow her to speak then she had nothing to say and hung up on me...

I am always careful to get names and times, this time she caught me by surprise... I was shocked at her attitude and how rude the woman was...

This morning I already got from them an offer of FORECLOSURE MITIGATION... They are suggesting we go to a local seminar they are holding at one of our Universities next Saturday... My loan was not even past due!!!

I fail to comprehend why my lender would have sold to them... It scares you to even call them because their on hold message automatically says "WE ARE A DEBT COLLECTOR"...

Who are these people???
