Preying on the volnurable

What a rip off. They prey on the financially vulnerable talking it up like it's a prayer answered, and then let the ball drop.

We are going through some financial hard times. I have not been able to work like I should have been. I am self employed and it has hurt me financially. My mother who is 91 has had some health issues that require her to be watched 24 hours a day. Consequently things have slipped.

I applied online for loans and heard from Proteck that I was approved, but needed collateral upfront. He agreed to accept 1/3 of the amount due. It was not accepted. Three times we agreed and all three times they backed out until they had the entire amount.

The next time, insurance was needed because I was slow at getting the collateral to them. I decided that it was worth the process and requested my money returned. I had to call the following day to get things started. They sweet talked me into giving the insurance money. The process of partial payments started all over again. I only gave one payment and requested my money back.

There was a "refund" policy that it was going to take 30 days. They have not sent me a copy of that yet. As of August 4, I have not been able to reach them by phone other than to leave a voice mail and they do not return my calls.

I would just like to have my money back to try and fix the mess that I am in now. I can't run my busines or take care of my family
