RPM Colle Harrassing calls about termination fees

I was a Sprint customer for several years. My husband and I found a better deal with better customer service with AT&T through his employer. We are getting more services for the same amount of money as we were paying with Sprint. I cancelled my account with Sprint and ported my number over with no problem. I started getting bills from Sprint about the amount that I was past due on. When I was able to pay that, I started receiving bills with a $200 cancellation fee on them. I was never told in the cancellation process when my contract was up.
I received one notification from RPM in the mail stating what was owed and that I had 30 days to respond. I sent a check for $84 that I owed Sprint in past due charges for my account. I also sent a letter stating why I was not paying the rest of the bill, which now included not only the $200 cancellation fee but other "late" charges because I had not paid this fee. That is the only written communication I have had with RPM since.
I recieve at least 2-3 phone calls a day from RPM at all times of the day, including dinner time and on Sunday mornings. I now recieve them from 5 different phone numbers from all over the country. I do not always answer the phone. I have spoken with someone probably 4 or 5 times from RPM. I have repeatedly asked for them to send me something in writing stating why they did not accept my appeal to the charges. I keep getting told that they will make notes of that on the account. Obviously that has never been done. Every person I have spoken with is rude and I have hung up on every one of them.
This company is completely ruthless and only has one agenda - get your money anyway they can.
